Barbara Waterman-Peters
Barbara Waterman-Peters received her BFA from Washburn University,
her MFA from Kansas State University, and taught at both institutions.
Serving on museum and arts organization boards, she has been a juror,
curator, panelist, critic, speaker, and workshop presenter.
Her work has been shown internationally, is in museum and corporate
collections, and four galleries. In 2005 she created the image
for Governor Sebelius’ Christmas card.
The visual artist for the Washburn University Theater, she is a
member in Arts / Letters of NLAPW. In Who’s Who in American
Women, she was awarded a Certificate of Recognition for Outstanding
Contributions from the State of Kansas.
Barbara is also a published writer of essays, articles and critical reviews.
