Nancy Overmyer
Nancy has presented programs for several
organizations about her interesting work in gourd art. Gourd art is her
interest, and photos of her work can be accessed at

Nancy joined the Topeka Branch of NLAPW in 2003 in the Letters division. She has had several craft books published with Hot Off the Press in Canby OR. She also has had several nonfiction articles published on children’s crafts.
Her hope in the future is to have a nonfiction book published on gourd art for children and adults. Another dream is to have some of her children’s fiction published.
She teaches computer classes at the Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library.
Nancy earned her BA at Kansas State University with a major in interior design. She studied graphic arts at Kaw Valley Technical School.
